Recently I found out that my favorite 80s cartoon, She-Ra (a spin-off of He-Man), isn't doing so hot sale-wise on the DVD front. Apparently her season sets aren't selling nearly as many copies as He-Man. The reason?

It's been stated that girls don't buy as many DVDs as guys and so most series' for "girls" rarely sell big number. Apparently it's more of a male-dominated area. This was especially disappointing to me, seeing as how She-Ra was pretty much the only pro "girl power" show in the 80s.

So girls, why aren't you all that interested in buying DVDs?
