The New Pop Art
I have always been somewhat of an art enthusiast. Be is custom pop art traditional art or modern art I find it completely captivating.
On a cold Autumn day as i wandred through the cities art district I noticed a real increase of Warhol style art and influence. I happen to love Warhol pop art and can spend hours admiring it. There were Obama 4 panel Warhol paintings in one gallery I visited which gave me an idea. Would it not be cool to create custom pop art portrait of a loved one or Friend ?It would surely make a unique present, thats for sure.
As I arrived back home I sat down at my computer and searched for a company that specialized in creating portraits from photos.. With my Father's 70th birthday aproaching I was considering creating a custom poprtrait of him in a pop art style.
After pondering my options I realized that a warhol style might be a little for his taste so would all the other styes being offered at numerous sites. After spending an hour or so online I finally found a company that solved my problems.
www.poppizzaz.com not only offered Warhol style, cartoon style using digital manipulation but they also created oil paintings using real paint. Although somewhat conservative in his taste my Dad loved vivid colors and texture so I was happy to see that Poppizzaz offered both. I decided that I would have his portrait done in thick brushstrokes.
After searching through pictures I sent it to Poppizzaz and within a few days received numerous textured brushstroke styles and background to choose from. I chose one and 7 days later I received images of My order. Wanting to change a few things was not a problem and they did it without hesitation. 2 days after my request I was sent the image again. It came out better then expected and was excited to give it to my Dad. Poppizzaz sent the order and I received it 5 days later.
With the whole famile gathered around my Dad opened his presents. Being the biggest gift he chose to open mine last. Finally my turn, he opened it and it actually brought a tear to his eye. He said it was the best present he ever recieved. I was happy that I was a able to give him a unique present. Thanks Poppizzaz!!!
