I just rewatched the Lord of the Rings cartoon? That was made in 1978 and covers the Fellowship of the Ring and the Two Towers. Anyway Im seething that the director never made a part 2 covering the Return of the King and dont say theres a ROTK cartoon from 1980 as that looks CRAP nothing on the 78 version. Does this bug anyone else? Yes, it's annoying. Basically the first film was not a success, and Ralph Bakshi, the director, was unable to secure funding for a sequel.
