Don't settle for knock offs either, the stitching, lining and buckles/straps wont' hold up. In addition the material snags on knock offs. I'm a firm believer that clothing should be economical since they wear out - but shoes and accessories on the other hand are a Very different story. A woman should always invest in a good collection of quality shoes and purses. A messenger bag is a good "staple" bag to have in any purse collection. Spring for the good one.
