![]() Anyone remember a Fred Willard working in a Hotel Lobby Children's show? I remember in the 80's watching a TV show with Fred Willard as a desk clerk or manager of a Hotel or apartment building lobby. I think this was a children's show. I remember a an animation or model of the building having dozens of floors. I can't find it on imdb.com and I am pretty sure it wasn't DC Follies because I remember watching it on Sunday morning, possibly on a 38 near Chicago. There could have been puppets. I remember Fred spent a lot of time answering the phone. . Help. Thanks. Plot summary for Set in a Washington D.C. bar, Fred Willard was the bartender, and the patrons were all Krofft Puppets, including former USA Presidents Reagan, Carter, Ford, and Nixon, and news reporters Dan Rather and Ted Koppel. |

LeapFrog Imagination Desk
The LeapFrog Imagination Desk Learning System teaches your child how to color and play. Kids can color the 26 alphabet pages included, and bring them to life. They can also learn sounds and letter names, fun facts, counting and numbers. Includes 3 engaging teach modes that use characters, games and music to turn learning into play. Includes interactive learning desk, coloring book, crayons, volume control, storage for templates and supplies, and a carrying handle. Uses four AA batteries (not included).
The product initially comes with all the coloring pages letters A-Z and numbers too. There is a spot on the page which is a green "go" sign. Once the toy is turned on and the pages are in place (which is held in place by the template plastic "frame") the child uses their crayon to press the go on the page. Then Leap Frog talks to them when he is colored and tells them the letter name and sound. When the letter is colored you hear a phonics song. When the any of the other characters in the picture are colored, you either hear a silly rhyme or fun facts and stories. Other pages include telling time, shapes, sizes, numbers and counting
The toy itself requires coloring pages. There is a handy slot at the back of the toy that can store one coloring book. The imagination desk comes with a 50 page coloring book that teaches letters and the sound of letters. Each page focuses on one letter and features a large picture of the letter and pictures of items that start with the letter. You have to rip the pages out of the book for the child to color.
One of the major considerations in buying this toy is that you will ultimately have to purchase additional coloring books. The pages are consumable - you need to rip them out one at a time to insert into the toy for coloring. Once they are colored in, the child is unlikely to want to use them again.
The Leapfrog Imagination Desk teaches your child about every letter in the alphabet. He or she will learn about animals, colors, music, 123's and their ABC's. It's worth investing into your child's future and he or she will love using their desk when it comes time to color.
