How long does it take to learn a new Animation, Drawing Art Style? How long does it take to learn a new animation art style(ex. Bruce Timm style, Disney, Anime . . .etc)? Now I know that whichever person we copy we will never be able to produce something exactly 100% like the person who developed it, that would take a really REALLY long time! But just wondering if anyone knew how long it took roughly to get good at an art style. Thanks! I would have to say it depends whether you have mondo natural talent or not. I'm still in the Doodler stage and can draw glorified stick figures... so it'd probably take me quite a while to master some sort of technique or style. My sister is somewhat of an indefinable artist and can easily switch up her techniques while still maintaining her own style and it doesn't take her very long... I don't think you can put a time limit on anything that comes naturally to some and not others. All anyone can tell you to do is to keep practicing until you get as good as you want to be.
